The thing is the water pump is right on the sump and if this leeks it will run down the sump !! If the sump is leaking the most common place this will leak will be from the washer !!

Smell it !! Coolant usually smells sweet and oil smells horrible !! also water it down and see if you get the multicolours in it !!

yes the 16v, VTS and 106 GTi are all VERY similar !! All depends on how good a driver you are !!

The 8 secs is for 0-62 MPH or 0-100 KPH !! The 0-60 MPH is 7.7 secs !! some seem to be slightly faster and get better with age !! I think mine runs about low to mid 7s

Total removal is in the haynes manual !! Dont go drilling out any rivetts !! There are lots of poppers etc !! And there is one rivet which needs drilling !!

or 8 ohm !! but until we know more we cant help more !! ASSUMING its a normal 4 ohm sub then YES it will be ok !! If the sub is 1/2/8 ohms or dual coil then youll have to look at a more suitable amp !!
