either the car wasnt perfect before you started and you have just noticed it now or the cloths you are using have slightly scratched the surface if any polish/sealant is a PITa to remove use a little QD to help removal.Also use Qd when drying your car Some microfibres arent very good!! lol try...

i have bought one excellent piece of kit i opted for the megs polisher route and sonus sfx pads, alternatively you can get the menzerna polishes either way with practice you will get good results, i got mine from cleanyourcar but i4detailing has them aswell and most traders in the stickies...

lambda sensor, ~£85 from renault i think, in 172 i think there are two, upstream and downstream and there slightly different, p.s i dont know jack all about mechanics!! or possible dirty TDc sensor but im sure some1 will help alot more than i have
