yes it will work with a sub
RCA Preout 1 (Rear)
means it will work with a sub,
however,
you wont have any control over the sub via the headunit,
you wont be able to change the amount of sound that comes through,
or the indepent volume of the sub,
also, you wont be able to add any more amps...
forgive me CS for i have sinned,:(
got me MM out,
climbed into the back of my car (its not as easy as it sounds with non reclining bucket seats)
turned to first click,
the amp went straight onto protect mode,
(as usual)
put the MM accross the terminals,
10v!
bum, just touch the fuse,
and it...
well ive had them like this for a year,
and touch wood theyve never falled out,
do s**t myself when my back end bounces a little lol
but back to topic,
you'll be fine,
as long as you done go to the type of test centre that will fail you for having dirt on the indicator, and hence making them...
well ive run a 1201 before,
its all stock under the bonnet, have some 0awg left so may put tb3 on my summer list lol,
except battery earth is 1x0awg + 1x4awg
amps running at 2ohm so the power drain shouldnt be too extensive,
ill sling a 150a fuse,
the fuses on the amp make 120a,
but its not...
i understand your first post, living in essex you wouldnt believe the amount of times i see awfully set up systems in cars with 8awg power wires, and the gain (volume on the amp, as ive heard it called before) set near the top because its a 1000watzzzzzzzz max sub, and then get lectured about...
please get that shopping list off!!!
i notive from other pictutes youve added to it too :nono:
so you cant say it was already on the car :rasp:
i like the std wheels,
refurbed in black or white, would look quite nice,
perhaps some smaller tyres
im not going to lie,
i may have failed here,
i cant remember if a bolted the fuse down properly,
kept taking it out, put it in to test the amp,
took it out to install it properly,
put it in to test, worked (because i darent turn it up with my dad :S)
gna go check the fuse in a second
i not a complete r****d skinny J,
i dont believe the amps clipping at all, (cant say for certain as i dont have an oscolliscope)
gains on a smidge of minimum as my headunit has high voltage preouts,
and bass boost is completely off,
so £10 please :P
no offence, but arnt you the one that implies hes going to pay for this?
whos the vulture??
but i wouldnt have thought ud have to pay an excess if you werent claiming for your own car,
at the end of the day, uphold your defence that you ever so slightly tapped him, and the insurance company...
perhaps you should avoid putting that on a public forum lol
but even knocks can do alot more damage that you can see on the bumper
i had a look under my car, an was supprised, twice ive knocked the back of my clio,
neither time was there any visable damage,
but underneith it was a different...
theyre anl fuses,
i accually think the fuse for the 1201 may be a tad loose,
ill check this in the morning,
the battery is earthed with a 0awg, and a 4awg, (just because the 4awg was the right length at the time) aprox 1" long each,
ill go over the wiring tomorro, loooooooooong,
would it be...
over 2 grand for wheels?? TSW wheels??
set of magnesium wheel, that really will make a difference wouldnt set you back that much.
and 1.2k for shocks and springs, hmmmm
if she goes to hospital,
the hospital will examin her, and fingers crossed they wont find her with any injury,
also if he tries to make a personal injury claim,
the pictures will come in handy, as will the police report hopefully,
tbh, he reserves every right to claim,
if it was my car, i...
the higher it bites, the more time its got left,
unless its adjusted wrong,
think its perhaps because theyre cable
biting right at the floor means its due a change
mines stiff,
but its nothing on a 172,
drove one a while back, i stalled :quiet:
