I find my Goodyear F1 GSD3s to be much better than the Conti Sport 3s I had before. Contis on lasted 5900 miles and Goodyears have done 5000 miles now and not even half worn.

Website works fine for me I can see all the prices. My Ktec stealth isn't much louder now with the silenced decat than it was with the cat. If anything it's probably better as it doesn't seem to drone now.

Is that £862 for a whole year or the remainder of the policy? I think it's a waste spending that much on insurance put that money aside to save up for a deposit on a house. I had a 1.1 until I was 23 then I got my 172 and don't regret not getting a faster car earlier.

Knowsit ;) It was £125 + £8 delivery, also got a manifold to cat fiiting kit for £10.99. It's no less restrictive than a standard decat as pipe is same diameter. 'Tis booked in for next Saturday :D My engine management light hasn't come on.

Got my Northwest Performance 172 silenced decat fitted yesterday. Took them two hours to fit it but they only charged 30 quid. Getting them to quote a price wihtout knowing work involved FTW :cool: Really happy with it as the sound is amazing but not too loud. It revs alot more freely now and...

That actually looks quite nice.

Furthest I've driven in the 172 is 300 miles without stopping. You need hi-viz jacket, spare bulbs, water, spare wheel (tyre foam is rubbish), european breakdown recovery, insurance that covers driving in Europe, and maybe snow chains with going to the Alps.

I'd prefer to pay bit more for lower mileage ph1. Those seats the exclusive came with are awful.

How cheap is pretty damn cheap? It'd be a good shell for a trackday car, the part history would worry me though if it hasn't had regular oil changes.

My stealth does seem to be louder than most other stealth exhausts though.

Very easy just four 10mm bolts then just make sure you remember the order for the leads.

Someone had fitted my old pads the wrong way which caused them to wear at an angle. Pad with the ridge should go on the piston side iirc
