Aye they can never be perfect
I find mine skips around on the back end a bit because there's no weight in it apart from the cage. Can't imagine what it would be like on coilovers 😂
SNR/Genuine Renault are the best rear discs
Even on a 172 cup your brakes shouldn't go rusty because of the compensation/bias. I'd be checking your sliders aren't siezed, they should at the very least keep the discs clean with regular use
If you flash the pops and bangs map onto a standard car
A) The exhaust valves will exit via the rocker cover
B) You'll be a massive battyboy
You'll have no issues with the 98RON map, loads of people on here have been running it for years and years
The roll centre won't cure the wandering on a cambered road
Over bumps on corners and stuff it's amazing. Doesn't just violently want to put you in a ditch🤣
Drivers side shaft sent back under warranty, hopefully they honour it (again) and they send me a new one. Less than 5k miles and 11 months of use. I've never had an issue with any of the genuine Renault shafts, this is the 2nd shaftec one that the boot has just come out of the cup🙄

So whilst the box was away I decided to give a lot of things a good clean down. Jetwashed the subframe, support plates and my undertray. They were all coated and caked in a nice thick layer of s**t and gearbox oil despite only doing a few thousand miles
Give under the arches a spray down to...
Pretty much what happens here mate🤣🤣
There's a few Renault branded boxes that turn up at my house each week. I show the Mrs, tell her it's going up in the loft and then it stays there🤣
Love the parts finding!
Mn after my own heart picking all these bits up, I spend hours scouting through eBay and random auction sites for clearances on Renault parts🤣
If it's saying steering not locked then it will be something immobiliser related. If the person working on it hasn't even bothered to check that then he needs to put down his tools and work at McDonalds ffs. I mean what sort of mechanic can't bench-test or run direct 12v to a starter 🤦♂️
It...
I know it sounds daft but have you tried to turn the wheel when starting?
I've had it before on my megane and it wouldn't start saying "steering not locked" but all I did was give the wheel a flick and it let the ignition come on
DS1.11 from cold they squeal like crazy and the initial bite isn't that great
The dust from them is pretty bad too. Try PBS ProRace, I found mine were decent enough from cold but took serious abuse even when on a hot trakcday
Aye I don't get why there's 2 part numbers
@Kev@KAM might be able to 100% confirm but I'm confident they're the exact same. I mean my Megane has worked fine for the past 20k miles with 197 inners and outers on🤣 (they're the same)
197/200 inner track rods are the same as 225/R26/175 dCi
For some reason Autodoc doesn't seem to think so. There's a few part numbers to choose from but 7701475837 is the part number I used for my Megane
