Arrows need to follow direction of airflow. So they need to point into the car. Or down in the Clio's case.

I used been I discs and (after the ds2500's fell apart after 2 laps) then some £25 halfords own brand pads. Even With two drivers, they lasted all day absolutely fine! It does make you wonder what we waste our money on...

You need to swap the yellow and red wires over on the iso connector if you're fitting an alpine.
