Don't do it... Cloth, or even a roll of kitchen roll, and use degreaser to wipe down all the dirt. Or do what I did and inadvertently drive into a giant f**king lake and spend 4 hours trying to clear a misfire but at least the engine bay was cleaned up

Red and green, it should never be seen. This applies to Mk2 Ph2 Renault Sport Clio's as well, I'm afraid to say. Especially the safety jacket variety..of green Criticisms (It would probably grow on me though)

Wasn't the gearbox 'rebuilt' not that long ago? Missing a gear at high RPM won't do any gearbox any good... you're giving up on a car because you wrecked it with a sloppy gear change, is that what I'm getting from this? ;)
