That's wrong IMO
Dealers act on behalf of Renault - If it's defective then it should be replaced as per the terms and conditions, I've had warranty work carried out in the past through a third party and it took one phone call between the garage and the warranty holdings company to sort - should...
Mine moved around at first and caught the surround but it seems to of sorted itself.
You could probably adjust it yourself. Notice all the bungs in the original Renault mount !!!
Check wear on the brake pads too, uneven wear could highlight sticking callipers - this happened to me last week!
Made the car VERY squirmy under hard braking.
Standard springs?
Standard shocks and lowering springs will kill them sooner or later.
I'd get the alignment checked out first before any trips to a main dealer etc.
Could be anything to be fair lol
How did the car handle before the new tyres? Perhaps the pressures/balancing are all wrong.
I had a buckled wheel replaced recently, made all the difference in handling once replaced.
Don't see why it's not covered under warranty - it's a common part malfunction likely to cause injury to yourself and others when it results in an accident!!
It's a Ph1 172 bumper so drilling holes might not be required however my car does appear to be an anomaly with things like this!
It took me a while to remove it Glyn, had to get right under the car to remove bolts under and around the rear light cluster.
I had a custom one made for £130 which was crap. I replaced it with Mikes old K Tec centre section which was loud.
I now have a full Prospeed system that is louder still.
Oh well you win some you loose some...
