I just sold my Exclusive (Number 002) to a fellow member(s) and loved it. As Dan said its very much an aquired taste, but i'd have another no problem - the Scarab paint is superb when clean! Fettled was mine, though :o As for sought after... I doubt it...

In honesty, the difference is all about preference. I've had four RS Clio's. A Phase 1 172, a cup packed 182, a Phase 1 172 Exclusive and at current a 172 Cup. I love the fact it returns 35mpg. I also love that after 5 years of Renault Sport ownership when i boot it onto a motorway up to 90mph...

Welcome along. There is no such thing as a Phase 1.5, it's either a 1 or 2. What has probably happened is some bits have been swapped over i.e the rear bumber/spoiler etc Do you have any link's to the car?
