I paid £149 for my first service and its 1yr 12k not 2 yrs, the 2yrs ones are the 18k non renaultsport models. If you dont have it done you will invalidate your warranty and im sure they will say they never said it was 2 years when it came down to they having to pay for the warranty work!

those MKI things were good in their day but I couldnt live with the interior and lack of refinement in todays standard of car, plus my 182 is better specced and faster so I cant see why i would even think about buying one when I have the 182. Each to their own I guess but I prefer a newer...

Sorry but I can see where this is going, and its not going to be pretty so I think its best if this locked. This was quite an interesting thread until it went off Willys and onto Strombas.

it was changed in 2001 to emissions, before that it was done on engine size

cool so mine is only £165, Phew, a whole extra £5 saved!

this is the same theory as the 182 vs. V6 on track, its alright having all that power as long as you can use it.

think its just the highest band which when I last bought tax was £165 I think
