thanks for the posative replies :) my car used to get slated on here when i first bought it. did look a bit poo tho to be fair, had gold badges, dtm mirrors and a red induction scoop. i love the look of it now i have it styled how i want it :) don't know what the previous owner was thinking!

just went to my car to inspect the discs and pads. went to undo the wheel nuts. THEY WERE FOOKIN' LOOSE!!!! not very happy with the mechanic that fitted the braided hoses yesterday as he was the last person to touch the wheel nuts! good job i heard the noise and checked it out. two of the nuts...

yep, thats what happens. put it neutral and i can hear it more (less engine noise). it seems to stop when i press the brakes. other thought was wheel bearings, but that would make a noise all the time wouldnt it?

well when i went in it today i noticed the noise pretty much whenever the car was moving. i parked up and revved slightly and there was no noise when stationary. brakes??

after driving it again i think it is the brake pads rubbing. anything i can do or will they wear in?? help much appreciated
