Spotted a tidy silver 197 in Knaresborough parked up on the side of the road near the centre, anyone on here?

They use spire clips with torx head screws. I drilled mine out when they were knackered and just used small bolts and nylon nuts.

You can use some grease on them, a smear of lithium or red rubber grease won't do any harm. None is better than the wrong stuff though.

If the painter knew there was filler, then surely he should have stripped it right down rather than just painting over the top especially after admitting the paint might not last? I wouldn't really be happy with that after paying for a respray.

Do seem to see more speed camera vans around north Yorkshire lately. Isn't so bad though as there's lots of fun windy b-roads where you struggle to get to the speedlimit anyway so never see police on them.
