Ok a serious answer....
First off I'd purchase an aftermarket exhaust system off of someone with a good rep (not an ebay special) I'd then see about any induction set ups that are recommended (ask on here) I'd then try to make full use of these mods by having a live map done at a tuning...
Very nicely done car that, although I'm not quite sure why the badges are in white? Doesn't seem to go with anything else? Apart from that I really like mate.
Very nice work, obvious you've put a lot of effort in and I love the "go for it" approach. Shame about the engine troubles, hopefully that'll be sorted soon enough.
Love the colour.
I have no idea, but their service is spot on mate, upon calling them they knew lots about the car, lots about the mods, offered me a VERY competetive price with 90 days european cover and other extras. Told me to call back if I got a better price and they'd try their best to beat it.
I'll give it a go, but I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at from above (know it sounds silly) from underneath I'm fine! LOL!
Cheers for the help Mr Fred
Anyone else looked at this ones post history? Seriously all this girl does is welcome people!!! Welcome bot setup by admin? LOL!!!!
Oh and welcome to the club.
Mats (tick)
Steering wheel (tick)
Rear bumper (tick)
Cup spoiler
Ph2 sidestrips and bullets (half tick)
Is it wrong I'm nearly done choosing my mods for a car I havent even got yet?
Cheers for all the info and help mate, and Aluco, damn right there's nothing wrong with silver ones!
Look...
Ok question two, if the speedo sensor is ontop... then what is this on the bottom to the side.... (can sort of see it through passenger arch with the wheel off)
(excuse the sketchup, its only rough)
I have a 1998 1.2 8v (d7f), should I be able to see the gearbox sensor from within the bay? Or should I have to get under the car?
Basically I'm 99% sure that my speedo sensor isn't the correct one (well what Renault should have fitted)
All pics/comments welcome.
Do it man! I'll be putting one on my new ph1, I did it on my non sport (non sport ph2 bumper) and it updates the rear end no end IMO.
Not to mention "butch's" it up a lot. I think the back of the ph1 with the round lines is quite soft, but the front is pretty mean, the ph2 bumper makes it all...
Got them PM, I'll try to make my first appearance next week, mainly because I havent picked up my 172 yet and the 1.2 rollin' on 13" steels and pov spec interior isnt exactly a hoot to drive... but also because I'm buying the 172, and thats a lot of money to waste on petrol getting there tonight
Get the car fixed up, and you know it sound. Buy a new one and you could be buying into a whole host of other problems you're not going to have fixed properly....
Looks really good mate, really s**t someone hit it just after you'd had all that done! Hopefully he'll sort it out for ya.
PM me how much that little cost ya if you dont mind :)
That might be the case, but my engine is not infact my engine.....
That speedo sensor is totally off, so is every other part I've tried to buy, and Renault know nothing about it..........
They've even contacted renault main build centre to see if they can shed any light, and guess what...
Basically after that guide was put up most people discovered that they didn't have the space for the fuse, but the guide wasnt changed as it didn't do any harm.
I found the light from them to be worse on normal road driving than my non sport lights, but for some reason when it was really dark...
Please read this maz, I know its a lot of text, but if you read it your car may survive...
Ok dude, I've never met you but please try and take this seriously as I'm starting to wonder if you are infact, a bit "special"
The guy who rebuilt the engine is offering to have a look at it, you say...
