I'll ask the question again. Have you not seen a reservoir before? The point is, by the time the reservoir has gone down by any noticeable amount, it will have rained again, thus filling up the water reserves.
It's quite simple, when you think about it.
If the car has been sealed properly, a jet wash down might suffice. It's never going to be as good for the paint as a proper wash, but at least the jet wash will get rid of some of the dirt/dust/pollen build up.

APC will strip waxes and sealants. So every time you wash your car, it is reducing the protection. Think I'll stick to the correct methods ta - don't offer advice if you are not sure.
