    Air conditioning system - recommission

If your mates got a charge machine then it's a piece of piss, Just add the oil to your new compressor (low pressure side) give it a few spins by hand and away to go. If its a new part it might already have oil in it btw. Edit: Need to replace the drier aswell just so you know.

    Air conditioning system - recommission

Either add it to the compressor before you fit it or suck it through the service ports. (little black knobs on the top of the ac pipes) I wouldn't attempt it if you haven't got the proper tools tho, get it wrong and you will f**k the compressor. One of those jobs where its less hassle and...

Ebay 15% off some bargains to be had on tools

Guess its because they sell a lot more impacts and there isn't much competition for battery die grinders. Die grinder and some more 2ah batterys. It wasn't vastly cheaper with the code than some other ebay sellers but authorized reseller so guess it's worth it.

Shoudnt the 172 feel quicker than this?

It won't break, just requires a different driving style if your used to driving turbo cars. Doesn't really come alive until 5k+ revs.

    Austin’s Clio dci 100 Initiale

Iirc I did the bottle method injector leak test and happened to notice bubbles from the return line. The hole was right down the back of the engine near where it goes through the tunnel, I couldn’t see it but my hand came out with diesel on it. Replaced the line and spliced it into the old one...

Bit late to the party now but mine had a similar issue and it was a tiny pin prick hole in the fuel line letting air into the system.

Various ones on the bay for £50. Pug & citroen also use the same calipers for various models.

Less hassle to just buy new calipers rather than do a full rebuild, iirc there only £50 odd each.

Not a huge amount of options if you need to drop the beam, rear chassis rails are to high up for most axle stands.
