Oh they are, i loved my 197, but mate, its not ten car lengths faster!(unless i missed the joke?) I, like you have had a 172 Cup, 182, 197, now back to a Cup. There is no doubt that for everyday use the 197 is a better car.
Its not just the aircon. Its only Cups that sit like that, so this 89kgs must be pretty true. My sister has a Cupped 182, and that sits like mine did on sportlines!
Tip top!
I remove all the strips from time to time, makes a better job. I half PC'd mine, N/S, bonnet
& roof, as i dropped it off last week for paint on the O/S. I'll let that settle for a few weeks then do the lot. Best colour, works well with silver Turinis ;)
Oh and you missed dressing the...
Eibach sportlines. Keep a lookout on here. Pick some up for around £80
BTW is it peeps on here, as in the 'normal' world they look ok next to other cars....
The deal is for a Cup, no options. As soon as you start speccing the car up, the monthly payments increase also
If i wasn't saving for a house i'd have probably gone for it tbh, just increased the annual mileage :)
Its not a bad deal (for some), but you have to find nearly 9k after two years, or hand it back. Seems daft to me. And you are capped to 6000 miles a year.
I use a huddie at the min. I'm 99% convinced it is the sun that causes the issue as they ALWAYS melt on the RH side, which is closest to the side window
