I think the term you are looking for is "Built, not bought". Besides, if there was lack of nutters spending ££££ on this marque it wouldn't be as exciting. Look at how much the clio TT cost to build - in excess is 12-14k easily - Yet would rape any evo/Ferrari down the strip.

On the newer models they can just pop out. I have seen it done.

No you haven't split your CV boot. You have just let the drive shaft pop out the gear box. To top it up you need a bit of hose and an oil cone thing. There is a nipple on the gear box, put the hose on that and then fill it up. PS your drive will reek forever.

No wouldn't stop cats from jumping on the bonnet lol! Only thing I would say is bash a few layers of wax on there for a bit more protection. Can't see it doing much against those sharp claws though!
