Thanks for that Steven. So am I right in thinking that Apeture/F stop has nothing to do with the lighting of the image? Just blurryness of the background/sharpness of the image?
So if i was taking an image of a flower close up in manual mode, id have am F stop of 2 so i get a blurry background?
:o
I thought that aswell, Although I'm a pikey and can only upload so many images per month and im maxed out...
Im in the process of hosting my own webpage though so I am hoping to link straight from that!
Yeh I was shooting RAW mate, however the above images were compressed/resized in PS and uploaded to PB.
I took quiet a few long exposures but still wasn't very happy with them :(
I think* you will need a new dogbone mount! Although dont quote me on that as im not a mechanic.
But yeh, it deffo sounds like a mount of some sort you need. They aren't usually that expensive either :)
AG Engine and machine cleaner, Aerospace 303 to dress plastics, Cloth and a toothbrush... Oh and s**t loads of patience. You need to break it down into sections and do it bit by bit.
Hello!
Went out tonight to try my hand at some night photography with my new Tripod! For my first attempt I don't think that I did too bad actually! Was hoping for some positive criticism though so I can further improve my shots.
I REALLY need to learn how to use aperture and shutter speed...
Lol you *****. I want a Makita :( Im still to do my car too! Didn't even bother with it when i put it in the megs competition lol :D
Yours looks pretty awesome though man. Skills! (more than me anyway!)
Would you reccommend me an expensive (circa £60-£70) via pm please as i only use collonite...
The man speaks sense. Although i dont like the sonus pads lol Much prefer the lake country ones...
I started off with a megs G220 and then bought a Kestrel SIM180 rotory polisher. Best thing to do IMO! Learn the basics with the DA then buy a rotory as they are 100 times faster.
They suit the car loads! I think its because the arches are pretty big on the C2's. They would be a little OTT an a 1*2 but they suit your car down to the ground!
Nice work mate :)
Yeh mate thought about those but thought id just rather have the stability of the tripod really!
Are the ones from Jessops any good as ideally id want to go and fetch it from the shopping centre today... I dont mind ordering online though either!
Menz polish is awesome stuff...
Although im a little miffed as to why they have renamed Intensive polish to Super finish (or something along those lines)
Cheers Dan... Yeh a lot of my images seem to suffer from the shake bake hand aswell which is why i was thinking of buying one. I also want to try out some HDR images and a tripod is a must for them apparently.
Im looking for a tripod for my d60 and its proving a little harder than i thought :S
There are tripods ranging from £25 - £500 and im a bit confused really? I dont want a massive one but still a decent sized/medium one and i am looking to spend around £35.
Have done a google but there is so...
Yeh mate got loads of polishing stuff now and done quiet a few cars with the rotory polisher aswell since!
Let me know if you need help cleaning it LOL!
I would pick up a mint cup for that money!
Less creature comforts BUT less to go wrong + has everything you need. I mean how many times a year do you need aircon ffs! And thats coming from a 182 FF owner!
You will smile everytime you drive it aswell :D
So, got back from Tunisia about a month ago and just got round to sorting the photos out. Taken with a D60 with the kit lens! First proper chance I had to use the camera and I don't think i did too bad.
My shots can only improve anyway so here they are. None of them have been...
Norm. You and i both know that you will drink far too much in the space of 2 hours then throw up somewhere. I will be there with the top up of alcohol to pull you through the night. There will be no carrying back to the room tho!
Yeh it is. That department specialise in modified policys whilst the rest are normal. They are supposed to transfer you over to them if you mention mods but they dont.
When you ring up and the woman at reception says how can she help, tell her to put you through to the red department. All the other departments haven't got a clue. Spoke to one monkey who didn't know what Braided brake lines are. Red deptment guys knew everything. IBT's engine conversions etc.
