its due its 2nd cambelt change next year so make sure its had its first at least!! they are every 5 years or 72k what ever comes first! many think its just 72k! check exhaust for blowing joints or welds rear damers leak and make the handling "interesting" engine mounts wear and brake over...

dci 100 would be my choice hands down after driving both BUT we all know how rare they are even compaired to the 1.6 16v!

yeah agreed we had looked at a few 1.4 16v's for her too due to slightly cheaper insurance but didnt see the point when for the same price we could have the extra 10bhp and more torque so 1.6 it is, one thing i will say though is the mpg seems to be around the same as you would get from a 172, 2...

would hammer a 1.2 16v, quicker than the dci untill 80, dci pulls quicker over 80mph. not sure if it handles as well as the dci, it felt better at first but then once i got back in the dci it felt better with the heavyer steering, although both are running cheap tyres at the moment so its hard...

exhaust mount needs played with and hanger cable tied up

Beast, K4M 1.6 16v goes well, every option on it apart from xenons, its got climate, electric sunroof, cabasse stereo with 6 disk changer, Traction Control, Cruise Control. 55k miles on it

quicker than the dci below 80mph, dci is bit quicker over 80 because of the torque. off the line its much quicker due to diesels being crap for launches

im from stirling too mate and id be VERY interested in meeting up to check it out mate ive been wanting one for a while now just never had the balls to spend the money on one as now im running 190bhp and 160lb/ft hard acceleration out tight bends is causing me to light up the inside wheel!
