Re: tyers for 182 wheels anthracite
are they goin on your car?if its a 1.2 like your thingy says, then might aswell spend a bit less on some still good tyres, but dont see the point of getting F1's or PE2's when you probably dont need that level of grip for a 1.2?
just my opinion
why not be different and get some steelies?
out of the two id say speedlines, but id probably either keep standard or pick something completely different, seems like most people change their alloys from standard to either superlegs, or turinis!
i dont understand how people can know so little about soething they spend a fair wack of money on!
fair enough if people dont want to know everything they can, but the cup not having ABS is something very different, as almost all other cars have it!
i want some wheel spacers to make the wheels flush with the arches on the outside, the originals seem to be slightly inset!
are all wheel spacers expensive, the cheapest ive found some are about £40 for a pair!
if i get some made then would they be just as good?
ill probably get 195/45's on them once they are sprayed.
and im thinking just 40mm apex springs, cant be bothered with the hassle and price of a full kit, id prefer to spend the money on the skirts and colour coding!
nothin wrong with the standards at all, just love the turbine wheels!
finally managed to get my hands on a set, wont be on for a bit, need spraying up first!
they're my forst proper exterior mod, hopefully be lowered abit soon and some subtle side skirts.
i can see your point, i never did mine expecting more performance, like i said just needed more room in the back, and didnt want to ruin the seats etc, but the seats are heavier than you think, the backs anyway, and i suppose i had the spare wheel and jack, sub, amp, flase floor so i suppose i...
i just took all of my rear seats out, spare wheel etc, need the room for picking up some new wheels next week sometime, can feel the difference in weight straight away, and even the standard exhaust with just an airfilter on actually sounds fairly good with no baffling on top!
might decide to...
i dont want to get all my interior dirty, i know it sounds stupid but i was told it was a 2 minute job so thought i mayaswell take the backs out aswell, and once i started i was determined to finish!
but all done now, so ready for the pickup!
ive got one out, victory!
im using a proper socket, for the torx i meant the second picture which is the seat bracket thingy!
been blasting some wd40 in it like you said, giving the second one some time to soak!
my mate told me it would be a 2 minute job to take them out!!!
help!
need to take out all my rear seats so i can pick up my new wheels, but im struggling a bit, the pictures below show what i need help with..
the gold bolts, they hole in a rear bar that sits just behind the rear seats, i have got them out a bit but they are getting very tight, i have...
humm, if it was me id get a rough size that you want, i.e if its a 10mm hole say you need to plug it up, what would they recommend etc!
not sure if that was much help actually!
i got the cheap ones off ebay, two sets, and had them for well over 6 months, looks just as good and a fraction of the price, havent gone yet and i indicate alot!!
what are the offsets for turbine wheels?
i want the wheels to fit my arches better than my standard wheels, will i need spacers or is the offset smaller??
will the cliosport side skirts fit my car?i have noticed they have a different angle at the front, so will this prevent them from fitting with my original wings?
if this is true, where could i get some skirts, much like the ones middo's old car had, just straight and simple to hide the...
just say number 3, but i think the word suspension as a mod is more of a fixed price whether it is springs or full coilovers, was with me and im with norwhich union, but im only 17, was only £14 extra a month for anything done to it!
thinking about 195/50 15 yokohama a539, off black circles, 4 delivered for £117ish!
but this depends on the tyres that are on them in the first place, just planning ahead!
