Wow. Definitive proof. I take it all back. No doubt the fia are busy engraving his name on the trophy, 2011 champ.
We'll forget that with all the new teams, 3rd cars are a pipe dream? And the press reported schumi would never return. And then he'd never return for anyone but rarri. And that...
Lol@begging. If he were quick enough, he would of been genuinely been in. But every test he's done has been sexed up for the Italian media. Have you seen the press reaction in Italy when he gets a test? It's incredible.
Which all helps with sponsorship etc.
Ferrari could pay rossi more than...
No one called you pointless. The article is a pointless one. It tells half the story.
I think the point you're missing is that 3s is not close. 0.1 of a second can be a massive amount in f1. If that's his level, he'd get his butt kicked all over the grid by most drivers.
But then I'm sure...
He was 3s a lap slower than a guy recovering from a massive head injury. You can't compare the time he set to Rubens' time, the cars are completely different.
3s means he's nowhere near the level required. He should be thankful alonso wasn't about.
Don't get precious 'babe'. People posted...
No. He's pointing out that it's irrelevant. You can't pick which parts of a story you consider relevant to prove your point lol. 3s slower in the same car is a lifetime in f1. I'd wager that with similar practice, loeb would be quicker. f**k, even badoer would be!
I love the concept.
But you have to be realistic, a FWD hot hatch with fixed buckets, no rear seats, harnesses, no stereo is a nonsense for everyday use. Crappy rear bench, reclining (light) buckets, how much slower would it of been, really? It would of been a vastly better car, sold more...
Really? The 182 got plenty of press adoration before the Trophy?
Again, couldn't diagree more. The R26 was a press favourite before the R, Autocar named it the best hatch in production.
I'll be honest, comparing the Veyron is nuts. The Veyron redefined what a car can do. The R26R merely comfirmed what was already known, lose a s**t load of weight and FWD can be epic.
Difference being, any manufacturer could do what Renault did, but won't because it's a poinltess exercise. It...
Although everyone applauds a car like that, not many want to own a car like that. I think future specials are more likely to be fully loaded with unique details (colour etc).
He was a c**k. Couldn't drive for toffee (I was 2 up), and spent the whole day playing billy big dick in the pits. Then on the drive home, I ended up on the same stretch, and he was behaving like a tit. Until the 500bhp rs4 turned up and spanked him silly:D.
There was a very well driven one at...
Couldn't agree more. I've been on track with a very poorly driven FRS, and it still just disappeared on the back straight, incredibly rapid.

Erm, priority on future tests with Renault? Do you not remember when Ferrari threw a hissy fit and wouldn't lend evo cars because they didn't win COTY?
Exists in all fields, reviews and group tests are very rarely unbiased and genuine. How else do you explain cars like the mk1 FRS, where some...
