I thought everyone knew about that stuff. PB gave up CarPro/IX etc because of margins. They simply spat the dummy but they realise how successful the range is now and have marketed it well.
Well I finished the story last night. Weird feeling and very gutted. Great little adventure with 3 superb characters. Trevor will rank up there with the best of all time. His ability to switch from psychotic to lover in a millisecond is something I won't forget in a hurry.
A very special game...
So it is mate I actually posted from my phone, couldn't really see the picture.
I'd have a mk2 over the Mk1. But I also fancy a Silver XR2i. My friend had one that needed welding underside, so sold it for £500 profit... he regrets it everyday. It was a K reg and utterly immaculate. On...
Stunning spec mate. Colour really comes alive. I prefer subtle Silver and Grey.
Also spacers seem a strange purchase. Car looks superb as is, i'm sure there would better things to spend money on.
2 things, I have a new found love for waxing! It's when you use a lovely lively wax, it drags you in. I think Celeste and Vics put me off for a bit.
Might even consider a new pot of Shield or something!
Anyway, not including the 10 in the washing machine... Work cloths... :o
I f**king love this...
One of my favourite cars in the whole thread. Look at it in that colour.
I just found out the late Fiesta RSTs could be had in Silver? Proper rare?
A colleague had a 306 exactly the same mate. Was a stunner! Ironically he got banned in his youth for the same thing you did!
You had better taste in cars than you do now!
Agreed mate. Air seems to be a killer. I had the Frp doing 12mpg due to a split breather hose somewhere. My Dad mentioned the car would simply be throwing in fuel like mad.
Drove like a different car afterwards.
Love the Cups honesty mate. Just an out and out hot hatch and does what it says on the tin.
I'm gay and would need a 182 with toys but I love the 172cup.
It's like a modern 106 Gti if that even makes sense mate.
Bit silly with getting rid chat. You've build the car back up with a nut and bolt restoration, you're not going to sell because of a spark plug!
Coincidentally a car did on me, most horrendous noise ever in a car! Seriously it sounded like the engine was eating itself!
Get it fixed, I can't...
The paintwork looks shockingly bad. Never mind the bird poo etching.
Also beware, lime etching does etch into the lacquer and whilst removable in a lot of cases, it can show up later.
Lacquer has a memory and marks, just like flattening marks from sanding can come back after polishing...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Really sorry to read that mate. Clean looking car aswell.
As Dan says, some people will see it as worth the hassle. I see it as a 3 grand Clio. If someone is desperate for bits then they'll lift it. Still strange.
Utter ballache though.
