As Dan had said, you're probably best of starting with the Cokin P Series filters as they are relatively cheap (about £10-20 once you have the adapter ring and filter holder) The next ones up to the Cokin are Lee Filters, prices i'm not sure but they're not cheap (would be a serious investment...

Invest in some Neutral Density filters and Gradual ND filters. Oh and a Circular Polarising filter.

Very solid cameras. As is my 5D MK2.

The quality on that looks decent! Only i'd stick to 30fps as you get a smooth shot. Tend to only use 60fps for slow motion.

Ah it is a 182, just did a check. I thought they were all 04 onwards. I know who the Arctic one is with green mirrors/bullets.

This is a pretty good test on the 7D's durability.

Only the high end Canons, so 7D/6D (partially) 5D MK2/3 (partially) 1D series are all fully sealed i think. Then you need sealed lenses too. Nikon D7000 is partially sealed and the pro range D2/D4 are fully sealed.

Using a small aperture should get you the star burst looking effect, if that's what you're after. Can get filters that do the same sort of thing.

I have the next one up to Niall's, the Fastpack 250. Really comfortable and enough room for my 5D MK2 with a 100-400mm lens fitted, plus a couple more lenses.
