    A big difference mate....try taking the car on a long run, say 200 miles or so down the motorway and back and you should see some better mpg figures....

    Best getting it steam cleaned i guess mate....a good valet place should be able to sort it out...better than messing about with cleaners etc...

    300 miles from a tank isn't good at all mate....i used to get over 400 miles to a tank from 1.2 16v....i get around 300-330 from a tank in the 182.... Whats the mileage of the car, has the car been serviced recently...

    172/182 ECU question

    IIRC yes....as cli0_172 aka Scott has an RSport ECU in his mk2 172, it worked before the ECU went in, then didn't afterwards....tho some chips maybe different and you maybe able to keep the cruise function. Hopefully someone else will be along and have more info on this. Hope this helps tho...
