Nah It's a bit too far for me to warrant travelling just to drive in a straight line. If I lived closer I'd give it a go.
Just interested to see how quick your beast actually is.
Don't take it personally ;) I do agree that looks like a decent wheel too.
But in my opinion it's not a touch on one of Snappy's. Looks far too plain in comparison! Put them back to back and I think you'd be silly to go for that over the other. But if you prefer it plain then that's all...
The ride height I assume you mean? I agree, ideally you'd need to have coilovers. However Cooksport springs do sit lower and look better than Sportlines.
You wouldn't notice any difference looks wise between 195 and 205s.
I know who you are!
I did think the other white Clio was a Ph2 172 though. With the Union Jack flag on the roof. Maybe I'm going crazy and mixing two different cars up!
But yeah anyway, that's who I meant lol.
Shame he isn't on the list too otherwise would have been a full house for the...
I run 195s. Purely because of the cheaper tyre. Tony runs 205s on his race car. He once said the extra money was worth the extra couple of seconds on the lap time.
Unless you are looking to set serious lap times I dought you'll notice the difference between the two.
R888 tyres are quite...
You came all the way here just to get the manifold?? Proper commitment but why didn't you just get it shipped? Not as if you can carry it on the plane with you to save it being damaged.
Definitely needs springs at the least. I have Sportlines at the minute whilst im saving up to afford coilovers.
Doesn't look too bad but not ideal in my opinion.
I bought a Sabelt wheel and part of the kit was an air bag resistor. I can't comment on other kits obviously. I'll be looking to buy another couple of resistors at some point anyway though too.
In regards to fitting the wheel. It was all very easy yes. The hardest bit was un-clipping the...
I was going to do both. But because of the rain I didn't bother with the swift and got as much time on track in the Clio as I could. Think I did about 10 laps all in.
Some VERY wet, some damp and some with a slight dry line forming. Had a nice little spin too ;)
That's something completely different lol. Nothing to do with removing the steering wheel. That's about fitting an after market one.
Obviously there is no air bag on 'most' after market wheels. So there is no where to plug the standard air bag connections in. Therefore the air bag light...
Got as far as the bit where you said 'on the server'
Can't find this anywhere. But on 'Incoming settings' I have set 'Delete from server' to 'when removed from inbox'
That seems logical so going to test it out now.
