    Cals Boring Iceberg 172

Brad knows all about camber bolts, he saw mine enough times, so i'm surprised he said he had to remove them to get the required camber? Always made sure the tabs were in the right orientation after rotating the bolt with me. 2.5 deg for fast road seems like loooads? Doesn't that just tramline...

    Wind deflectors

They work well on the motorway when you want air but want to also hear yourself think. Dont look bad either imho.

    Scraping exhaust going onto drive

It could just be scraping on the clamp which is less of a problem. I cracked the concrete on the first day as the bolt from the clamp was pointing down lol

    Scraping exhaust going onto drive

Reversing in does help but still catches every so slightly. Sometimes no room to reverse in either if neighbours are about

    Scraping exhaust going onto drive

No cat and the system is pretty high. Its catching at the end of the centre section where it flares out to join the backbox (Milltek 2.5" system). I had something similar in mind! I'll get under it today and have a proper look. I do run a proper flexi rather than the oem spring bolts so that...

Nope. I live down a tight road and there is literally no parking unless it's right at the top

    Scraping exhaust going onto drive

Recently moved and got a problem with my exhaust constantly scrubbing the concrete 'hump' before I get onto my drive. Dont want to raise the suspension so was thinking of having some sort of steel guard that fits and protects the exhaust section where it scrapes. Anyone else had to do similar...

    Slotted bilsteins

Wasn't sure i'd get enough camber with the slots alone! Bought the camber bolts originally with the stock suspension but then got the billies pretty soon after. Anyone know the max camber from slots?

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

Great stuff Mark, again the car looked wicked at csf. Rear screen wise, are you better buying any mk2 tailgate and just swapping the glass? Or even buying the glass new? Still available from Renault that I can see - https://www.renaultgenuineparts.com/renault-7701071024-rear-screen/

    Slotted bilsteins

Camber slots. Presume OEM as they dont look bodged Vertical slots wouldn't be a problem ?
  25. Louis

    Slotted bilsteins

Dont get why they're slotted anyway tbh. I'll leave it until the tyres are dead then shove normal bolts in and get it done again

    Slotted bilsteins

Surely with standard bolts itd still be the same issue as he couldnt push the wheel back the other way when it went too far haha
