In all honesty I think just go for a decent brand when it comes to tyre gel and don't pay a fortune. There's a fine line when it comes to car care products. In my opinion things either work or they don't and if it works fine at £5 a bottle, why pay £50 a bottle?!
I bought some Turtle Wax...
Sounds like you had a fantastic time! Those last two pictures are definitely wort the money, especially the first of the last two IMO.
What sort of lap times were you acheiving?
You're the first person to notice other than myself! It's been like that since I bought it. For some strange reason it's been painted that colour over the black plastic. I'll be putting it back to normal at some point!

Cheers mate :D
I would have done it soooner but they really grew on me. If they'd have been 16s I'd have left them and run two sets for when I fancied a change!
You'd be amazed at just how much the handling suffers on 17s but of course, I only found this out after sticking the 16s on!
Know...
How do you run a 172 AND pay your ay through Uni!?
i know what you mean though about engine mods. I;ve got other things to do first to make the car 100% (like brakes!) but I just want to spank it all on an exhaust and induction kit!
Go for a Flamer and join our rare little club!
As far as insurance goes mate, try Bell agian but add your mother as an ADDITIONAL driver (knocks about £200 off) and oddly, if you say that your car is parked on a driveway rather than a garage it's cheaper still! I assume that you have been...
