Lol deffo not. Fitted the standard airbox on this morning. hav'nt taken it for a drive yet but I'm sure I will feel a difference with the 26bhp that sodded off with the simota. I dont think I've ever known any induction kit that takes away 26 bhp before lol
206info aint a bad place really. I was a member over there when I had my 206GTi. After 206online closed down a lot of the modified car's came over to info. If you looking for technical things about the pub though try performance206.com. There working on a 1.4 16v now and its pretty interesting...
As it's said above. A powerflow is only as goods as the garage it comes from. Yozza, Miltek and k-tec are all rated highly and if someone manage's to have a bad one it's only sods law and unlucky.
+1
The old Zetec S are a pretty decent car. I would prefer one to a 1.6 Clio. Saying that though, a few decent mods (suspension etc) would make it just as enjoyable as the Zetec.
Had my 182 for nearly 3 months now and have travelled nearly 4k already.
About twice a month I go from London to Liverpool for work related shizzle and has ran smooth so far. Going to Leeds on the 4th so that should add another 400+ miles to the clock.
Cheap as chips.
Make sure it's got full service history and belts done if possible. They would be your main worries as the belt job service is a big hit to the wallet.
Seeing that 182 bean, I'm always tempted to trade my BG for the that colour.
I looked for ages for a car like that and it's sod's law that it pop's up now and with half leather seats too :(
Congrats mate. Sounds just the same as mine. Apart from in the sun you will prob find swirl marks gallore like I did. Enjoy cleaning it every week like I do lol.
