Planning on going to this... No interest in 'showing' my shabby tastelessly modified Ph1. It's a Clio with less stuff in it - who wants to see that anyway ?
I do want some track time however !!
As above. Easiest thing in the world to change.
@AlexW has a car in for breaking - I'd bet the speakers are still in that... Just swap out the OEM ones. No need for anything else IMO. Put a sub in the boot and cut the bass (HPF+LPF on the HU) to the fronts if you want a bit more punch.
Love this.
OEM+ ftw !!
I really want an Eonon unit .. What do you think to it ? How much work was it to install with the Nav and Freeview etc..? Mines only got a single din OEM unit at the mo so I'll need to get new heater controls... Doesn't seem too much effort.
What did you do to restore...
What happens in 6 years ?!
Even if by some miracle you got an extra 50% power out of your 1.4 .. Which you won't..... You'd have spent more than a 172s worth and still not have as much poke as one...
Sell your car and buy a faster one.
Mk2 dci100 for example...
Project thread !?
I bought it and drove home .. put the winter wheels in the garage and since then I've been driving it around. Think I put 40 litres of fuel in it the other day and some air in the tyres. Oh I plugged my iPod into it too.
Not really worthy of a thread haha !
Open the boot .. There'll be two black gromits about 20mm dia. one per sidewhere the bump stops touch.
If they spin.. Or even if they don't.. Take them out, put silicone/sikaflex or something like that around the hole and then put them back in.
This solved my issue 100% .. The spare wheel...
