Buy it anyway, it looks awesome in white!!
5 series are great cars (F10 onwards anyways), but they are simply huuuuuuge.
And i feel like a 45 year old with 2 kids when driving one. The 6GC however ...
The e92's seem to have a massive fuel tank as well (certainly compared to my M135i & RS3), so i'm sure that helps to give the better range as well. Mines averaged mid 30's around town (40's on longer runs), whereas the RS3 was doing high teens/twenties in the same usage giving about 230-260...
Aaaaaand its gone.

Sarah & i were a little sad to be honest, had some great times in it in the past 3.5 years and it had been in the family for over 10!
Luckily the new owner is a proper petrol head & will carry on to use it for what it was built for, track...
Couple of little updates on this now.
Wires switched in the steering wheel so that the paddles work correctly now - way way better!!

Lip spoiler fitted, although the pictures are fairly bad so it doesn't really show it 😂
Would take another one now, but...
It is, but i cant justify it with all the other things that i need money for at the moment ... weddings in the Maldives aren't cheap 😂
Nah, f*ck that, Porsche is mega.
Mini is being collected on Sunday
My theory is always that if you can drive fast & hone your skill on T1R’s (or similar), you always run rings around everyone who has “grown up on R888s” when you progress to a stickier tyre.
Less grip also allows you to find the weak point in a chassis (& driver) far easier. As an aside, its...
So, possibly the end of an era, i've taken a holding deposit on the Mini
A chap saw it on M3cutters (as per the R56 fJCW), was looking to build an R53 trackcar and is coming to view it next week.
Its not something i ever thought id do, but without off-road storage, i simply cant justify...
Just read all the updates & really dont know what to say.
Other than, when it does actually finally work, just sell the f*cking thing, its a boosted Clio, it will break as soon as you start to use it in any way properly. They all do. The only one that doesn't fail all the time is the Trophy...
From my understanding, every e36 & e46 M3 has a weeping diff. They were pretty much installed like that from new 😂
I get the roof down in winter thing btw, i only use the Boxster with the roof down, visibility is terrible with it up lol.
Judging by what has happened with Litecoin as of late, i think that people are joining coinbase, seeing that they can buy 0.008 Bitcoin, or one whole Litecoin, so going with the latter. Long may that continue
Well, due to a complete & utter lack of use, if anyone is interested in a mega spec FWD trackcar:
https://www.cliosport.net/threads/high-spec-mini-r53-trackcar-£4-995-ono.813993/#post-11521508
I'm not going to be heavily advertising it (i cant be ar5sed with stupid offers/timewasters), but if...
It always corrects after a period of significant growth.
I said to colleagues it would go to $10k then drop to £8k and recover. Seems that its done that, just at $11k>$9k.
As said above, its still up 57% this month lol, so not the end of the world
Awesome work!! I look forwards to receiving my free monies
If anyone else wants a referral URL, just send me a PM.
I've binned off Trading212 today, they've increased the margin requirement for Bitcoin from 10% to 90% overnight, closing all my positions, costing me £££'s. So they can go...
Because they are all still under warranty lol ...
The tech did say it was something he had got quite adept at fixing however 😂
That & the sh1tty mag ride dampers that rattle like they're about to fall off.
Not an issue like the FRS HGF though.
@Danny_172 172 Don't buy an 8V RS3 then.
I essentially sold mine because the valve stem seals failed (blue smoke on cold start) after Le Mans and it took them 3 months (September) to diagnose the issue & replace the part. When i got it back i was soo f*cked off that i sold it, on the basis that...
Assume they've solved the problem now then, & they're not going to do what Porsche did with the 987 3.4's and just fit another newer version of the same problematic engine that's fitted to it already
Doh!!
Conversely, my purchase of 1 Ethereum & 5 Litecoin on Coinbase has gone from £485 to £560 since August (3 months).
In addition, dabbling in Bitcoin/Ethereum/Bitcoin Cash has turned £700 into £1k on Trading212 since May, although admitedly, i was £200 down until 10 days ago when i made...
Not sure they can do it on the derv boxes, although i will keep researching.
This weekend i intend to swop the wiring on on the left paddle so that i can pull it to change down (like the DCT box):
(FACTORY DEFAULT)
LEFT PADDLE - Thumb press - downshifts. / Fingers squeeze - upshifts.
RIGHT...
Just on ebay, right timing, paid less than £100 for 3 months old, barely used!
Yeah, the scratches/her paint i've dealt with easily enough, its the " | " shaped vertical crease in the door its left behind that's the problem
Ha ha, by all accounts, the logo falls off after about 3 months anyways, so its not the end of the world!
Sarah's dad has all sorts of problems with aftermarket/custom car covers not fitting his XKR, so OEM made the most sense to me.
Couple of reasons for the Boxster over the Cayman:
1. Cant...
Couple more months of Porsche ownership under our belt & we've now had the car for just over a year
Had the MOT done recently and we've done a monumental 3k miles ...
