Ive bought a second hand standard back box for the valver - its in really good nick but its just started rusting over at the pipe - Ive metal polished it and its come up really well but theres still a bit of stubborn rust leftover.. Anyone have any tips on getting rid of it?

oh its not mega, more noticable if you run your finger along but Ill want it fixing at some point! more than likely when the missus kerbs em all..

I didnt notice until a few weeks after I got them back that one of the lips on my willy wheels was very slightly bent - you cant see it unless you put your face in it - im very fussy about things like that but I can live with it.. My question is when the time comes to get them done again can...

^^^ oh god I know about discomfort - I only had my bar dropped one notch (to anyone else it just looks standard but I know its done) and 30mm springs on the front but for some reason its just killed the car - itll bottom out on any harsh (ish) bump at anything over 40mph now... Dont really...

Thats all it is a wierd electrical fault - mine was the same - maybe it is later models of valvers/willys? All I know is the guy said my wiring had corroded and he pinched one of an RN in the scrappy and sorted mine out.. Reason I had both the thermostat and the low temp switch installed was...

Yup mine did it the other month, Couple of quid to fix although I went the whole hog (if you can with this kind of thing lol) and got a low temp switch and thermostat - never ever gets anywhere even close to halfway now before a tornado errupts and cools me down :D

lol! I dont like em, Id rather have a nice standard change.. Anyhow do what Ive done take your knob and gaitor off for a month and try changing with that...then put the knob back on - instant quick shift using your own parts!
