As far as i am aware, this wont be happening now. The offer was to me & Duck, as sceptical old sods. Duck owns a BMW, & i've gone with a different option for convenience.

Buy daves, far better car for the money than the other one imho. But imho, having done 25k a year in 1*2s before, leave it relatively standard. Cheap & fun then.

Iirc well known itb'd 182's are only worth about £3k, which i think is less than u want for it ;)

£400 ia an absolute bargain!! Shame about the Gaz, more unfortunate that it was fairly predictable :(

On the flipside, the setup that Jay/Tony use might be fine for them, but not fine for someone esle. Suspension is all about preference remember.

Its been for sale since i was looking for my 1st Trophy. That was last May. No Sachs = no Trophy.

History/condition is more important than mileage. FYI my '55 Trophy has 174k on it ... Get a 172, or 182 (non-cup packed) for additional suspension options. The cup-packed 182's are a ballache in that regard. Cambelt, etc needs correct locking tools to change. Other than that, theyre...

Made a fair bit of difference with my old saxo. Only had Saxposrt exhaust, raceland manifold & raceland induction kit, but would just about keep up with Ollie's cup to 90mph, certainly wasnt embarassed :) Pulled quite a bit out as you can see ... If its only a 2nd car, experiment...
