Quality, quality RTS. :approve:
If you liked the first one - then definitely get this - its much, much better. From the graphics (even on my lowly 9800 Pro) to the sound effects and the level design - it really is so much better all round.
Even if you're not a fan of the real-time-strategy...
Managed to drive all the way home today without incident. The 182 behaved itself impeccably - a little skitish when one of the front wheels went into slush, but that's to be expected.
However, I came up my lane (approx 20 yards from the house) and reached the bend that has cobbles it. Yikes...

Looking good. I like the way that they call it a 'booster pack' - in other words, we can't be arsed making a full expansion pack! ;)
Only downloadable from EA? Hmmmm. Does this mean it will be cheaper?!
Not really...
Well, it won't beat C&C or LOTR-BfME it terms of true RTS master status, but it's a good game all the same. It has a good unique feature where pressing the Spacebar during a 'mission' zooms you into a random camera view to see what's going on, close up.
There's a big polarity in the way the...
Spotted it on the forecourt this morning. No idea of price/condition or anything, but it's there for sale if anyone's interested? Looked bloody great, imo.... :D

How far would an 85g bar go on a 182? I know you're supposed to use it roughly in three pieces or so, but am I likely to go through a full bar on say the bonnet and front wings?
I'd rather buy more than one that to run short half-way through! ;)
Also, do clay bars have a shelf life? Can they...
I really think its about time that insurance companies should get off their arses and start analysing the vast databases of information that they have at hand.
The whole issue of age is bad enough (sub 67.2 years of age and forget about getting a decent quote) but the postcode one is just as...
Are they good enough for everyday driving or are their 3rd party options that are much better out there?
On my Punto GTT, I noticed a much smoother engine response across the range, after ditching the Fiat stock items. That's not surprising really - Italian manufacturing and worthy...
I reinstalled D3 and chucked on the expansion pack as I thought I hadn't given the game much effort the first time around. What pissed me off the most was the total darkness of it - no atmosphere, just pure annoyance.
Anyways, I set all my controls, enabled EAX 4.0 etc, etc and clicked on New...
Would have been about 1'ish this afternoon - reg started FY04 I think. You pulled up behind me at the lights. I was driving the Cayenne Turbo in front.....

Spotted it going past the Bee-Hive roundabout, then onto Junc.5 of the M65 about 5.40pm last night.
Had some nice rims on it and after-market zorst. Couldn't get much closer to see if it had a CS sticker or anything as I had Driving Miss Daisy in front of me in a Mondeo. :dapprove:
Looked...
Just thinking what would be the best product to use on my door locks, boot lock, etc?
Is good 'ol WD the best way to go, or would a thicker grease-based product be better instead?
Cheers,
D.
That's him........ it must be........ about a 100 yards on the left. If you squint hard enough, you can just make out the profile of a Cup. Or at least I think it is.....?

My dad's PC has a weird Internet Explorer issue that I suspect is some form of denial-of-service shite that he's picked up. Basically, when he launches IE, it opens up and minimises onto his toolbar. He's got BBC set as his homepage at the moment and when you click on the minimised icon, rather...
I've got a small (24kb) Excel file that lists the power outputs (both torque and BHP and @ RPM) for all of the cars listed featured within GTR.
I can't put a Putfile link or similar on here as it's a spreadsheet (a big no, no for AV reasons, clearly) but if anyone wants to PM me, I'll email it...
Saw a racing blue 182, complete with stripes, southbound on the M66 around Junc. 2 at Bury. Would have been about 8.10am...
About 10 mins later, a burgandy red Valver (N-plate, I think) came from the opposite direction on Grane Road.
Anyone?

Cupped-up and turned down that road between The Obervatory pub and KFC on the corner.
Would have been about 1.15pm today. Didn't catch the reg as I was coming up the hill from the other side...

About 6.30ish tonight. I was sat in the car on the phone and one 03 plate silver 172 went past me, followed by a silver Valver about a minute later.
Anyone?
D.
I think I'm missing something here.
I can understand putting braided covers and other wrappings on turbo parts and exhaust manifolds to reduce the overall heat build-up in the engine-bay...but.....

Putting part of the turbo...
Anyone come across this? It's looking like an issue that targets ISA Server, but we're not 100% sure on that yet.
Basically, all the main brands of AV software and spyware have their webpages forwarded on to www.foxmovies.com or www.fox.com. It also affects Google too, but other sites like...
Can anyone recommend PC benchmarking software, ideally not graphics biased? I'd like to get so idea of performance relating to the CPU, memory, chipset and mobo for a couple of different setups.
Cheers,
D.
Anyone know of any decent ones? Got relatives over there that are going to be building their new PC shortly. Just wanted to point them in the right direction....
Cheers,
D.
Ok, it maybe a run of bad luck, but I doubt it. I live at the same address and work at the same place as I have done for years. Yet unbelievably, I've picked up a third puncture in just 12 months with the 182...
Actually, that's a lie - techinically it's four. When I had it repaired today...
