When you say 'connected to the PC' - do you mean via a CAT5 (ethernet) cable or via USB? I know on the old NTL cable modems that running a USB connection to a PC would kill the ethernet connection to the wireless router. Similarly, running on wireless would stop the USB connection working...

Chaps, If we switched the standard Sky box to one of those HD units, does the dish on the roof have to be altered in anyway? Basically, I think our dish is fecked and if part of the HD installation requires a new dish then we're onto a winner. A bit of wishful thinking, methinks. ;) D.

You should have seen the fitment of the alternator on the Punto GT. Nice and snug next to the turbo with the thinnest heat shield between them. It was on its third alternator by the time I sold it. ;) Are they cheap to replace on the RS Clios? D.

I think that's the beauty of it. In a subtle (but obvious) way, it improves your driving in the game - in particular the GTR series. Is it because it feeds the PC with far more sensitive inputs than a standard wheel? Or is it because it feels so well built, you associate the wheel more to...

Dear, oh dear. If that's true - WTF are they thinking? They 'just' got away with four classes within BF2142 purely because of the unlock trees and that you could mix and match a whole host of options. Personally, I would prefer say 8 or even 10 classes, but with limited kits. Maybe a primary...

I personally prefer the Mk2, but would have recommended the Mk3 if you hadn't mentioned that above! I had one of the entry level (1.2?) Mk3's when my car was in at Reno. The car was so underpowered, it was dangerous. Playing with trucks and large vans on the motorway is hardly fun in rush-hour...
