After owning both coilovers and springs on my previous cars i wouldn't go coilovers again. The extra they lower is not practical, and the cost is too much for me to justify again. What engine is in this, presume its a 1.6 since its been on track?

Dont know if anyone cares, but i saw the car this morning. Something was very dodgy, it was hpi clear but has been in some sort of accident as you could see a crease in the passenger side door on the inside. Also the bonnet wouldn't open, the wear inside indicated it had probably done more...

Just to get this right in my head, does the non cupped 182 have the same suspension as a normal 172 then? Or were cup packs an option on normal 172's too?

It looks very sleeperish, i think. I want to choose my own suspension, so it makes sense to get as new a car as possible and then just buy a spoiler and splitter if needed.

Had belts done at 50k, and i'll be doing less than 5K a year so mileage will average itself out. What do you think i'll get it for? £1500 + mine

Going to see it saturday, rang up today and it seems sound enough, even if it does have quite a few miles on. I do like it, and would buy it, but not sure on the colour, i dont know if i like the silver, especially with those silver wheels, think the 172 wheels look better with silver...

On the C2 ive got t1-rs and ive used about 2/3rds of the tread in 5000 miles, however i find they do grip well in the dry but are a not that good in the wet. Infact i nearly lost it on the track when it started spitting, they dont like water tbh.

Hmmmm, kitchen or 197 Does one even need to think, lidl are always doing them gas stoves cheap, and a mini fridge at argos is only £15, what more do your need?

Ive had a really good quote from them for a 172 and just wondered if they reduce the price for having my parents on, and removing commuting from my policy. I know flux charge extra but bell reduce it with my parents on. I know i could ring but they aren't open so thought i'd ask here...
