Is great when you get someone who knows what they are talking about. Reminds me of a bloke I spoke from HP to who wrote a script to run on our NAS box after the thing died with W2K3 SP1. Top bloke and got me out of the s**t, big time! :)

Re: How fckuing coo ar Ipods?
^^^^ - like most software, i-Tunes just takes a while to get used to. For the life of me, I can't understand why they dick about with Playlists and custom playlists, etc - much like WMP. WMP is a great tool, but for crying out loud, they've made it overly...
Could you actually see in this though? Or like Doom, was it black, a bit more black. A bit of darkness and maybe, just maybe, a sliver of light here and there..... ;)

Washed the car as usual with the AG Bodywork Shampoo this morning. However, I put two capfulls of the AG Ultra Deep Shine into the bucket as well - just to experiment.
It turned the bucket mixture a slightly light blue colour in the process, but I swear the results looked better. It certainly...
Good review m8, but I'm not convinced by the 197 at all. Just look at your first picture. The 182 looks so, so much better. And I know what you mean about it being big. A dCi new-shape Clio that comes to work often looks HOOOGE compared to the Focuses on the car park.
The 197 just doesn't look...
Mark, how much was the case, if you don't mind me asking? They are around £160+, aren't they?
I was looking at an Antec case as a replacement. I currently have an Antec PSU and it does well for the price & spec. Hopefully the case will be on the same level...
Spotted it just after 12 today. I was stuck in traffic on the opposite side of the motorway.
Had a coloured coded grille mesh by the looks of it and an induction hole at the front. Large CS sticker in the rear screen too!
Anyone?

Actually switched to Dolby Pro Logic on my DTT3500 decoder. Suddenly all the pops and clicks went within BF1942. Didn't sound quite as good as the 5.1 setting, but decent enough all the same.
Small quirks of CL products, eh?
Wozzaa. Points taken onboard, m8 :)

Hi m8,
Turns out that the original eps files were on the G4 at work anyway. We just saved them as jpegs and burnt them onto a CD.
Cheers for the offer though! Much appreciated.... :D

Mornin' chaps....
We've got a couple of EPS images that we need to show a customer offsite tomorrow. I believe that they have been written in an Adobe product, but I wanted to know if there were any file viewers out there (for PC) that supported EPS format?
We just need to view the files -...
Yep Mark, I've done all the obvious! Mad to see that you've got a 9800 Pro as well - again, like me. How's the Lian-Li case, btw? Do they justify their high price?
Wozzaa - how have you found the X2 4400? I was looking into that one purely for the fact that it was the first spec with 1MB cache...
:)
It is a great road that - shame it's a little short though. Sometimes I go that way, having come from the Heywood side via Ashworth Valley Road. It's almost like a WRC stage in miniature!
How long ago did you leave Rochdale?

They should be made to pay back for that car (plus extra) in Ass Tax. Strap them up, and ferry them over to Amsterdam and stick a sign next to them saying "Bum me for 50p as I have been a little t**t in England and need to pay back for a car I torched"
I wonder if they'd ever do that again...
Same as me, m8! :D
I've got that slotted into an MSI K7N2 Delta2-LSR mobo with three lots of Corsair PC3200 512MB sticks. Like yourself, it's not caused a problem but I was looking to update my PC in a couple of months and I'm getting to be a bit wary of the X-Fi in higher spec PCs.
They've...
Yep - or it could be something as simple as tyre pressures. Get yourself down to Asda - they always have those decent (and free) digital air lines at the petrol station bit. I set my fronts to 32 or 33 PSI and the rears to 31 PSI. If it still feels like its fish-tailing after that, then it maybe...
CL's official stance is that latency on the PCI bus is the main issue. The X-Fi is 'missing' its turn on the clock cycle and hence clipping and popping noises can be heard through the speakers.
As I said, I've no issues at the moment, but I know the problems well from my Audigy Player days...
Anyone got these in combination, as above really? I've got an X-Fi Fatal1ty card in a decidedly average PC and have no trouble with it at all. However, browsing a few forums, I've read that various people are having issues using it with top-flight PCs.
Certainly something to be aware of if...
