Worse case scenario (which it probably wont come to) you can just drop another engine in.
Benefit of living in Hull is you can just leave your bonnet open before bed and the engine will be gone in the morning :)
I love how Orange/Red contrast on BG! Wasn't sure if I would be keen on the canards when you were describing what you were doing but they really look ace.
Seemed a shame to cover up the roof once it was painted anthracite but the faux alcantara headlining finishes it off. Awesome awesome car!
Mine had similar when I bought it, which is why i'm not too keen haha. Think it's just a bit too busy and they don't really suit the lines. I like the idea though to be fair. Stop blurring your plate too ;) Ruins the pictures haha.
Do you know who the PO is? Whats the reg on the car as someone may recognise it.
You could try ringing local specialists near where the last owner was based but it'll be like a needle in a haystack.
Some good garages fairly local to you are DDC Doncaster, Rstuning, or Mick at diamond motors...
Great updates Dave. Liking the brembos with the 2118's!
Do you have a link for the faux alcantara? Looks a good match! If you ever want to sell the carbon bonnet can I have dibs ;)
Appreciate the kind words buddy :D I have lots of plans but little funds! haha.
Forgot to mention i removed the boot trim and sanded back my earths as had been getting intermittent fog dash lights on braking. Why did Renault put them directly below plastic bungs which let water in?
Watched loads of danny's vids now, really enjoy them over those crappy 'which wrap has daddy bought me for my merc this week?' ones.
From those videos it's clear loads comes down to just the driving style/ability rather than power. All are ace though, have a soft spot for Jordans.
Think he...
Cheers mate! I really enjoy getting hands on with this sort of thing, and to be honest you only learn through doing.
I was pleasantly surprised with the paint too, as that's only 1 coat! Didn't want to go overboard as it's not needed and just peels.
