Ask around about how good your local chips away guy is. Some are very good, but if you get a bad one like I did they make things worse than it was before!!!!! The repairs are only as good as the guy doing it in your area.

For good shape paint then: Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze or Poorboys SSR 2, and a polishing Pad by PC Autoglym Super Resin Polish on a Finishing pad by PC Autoglym Extra Gloss x 2 and topped of after 24 hopurs curing time with a good carnuba wax. What colours your car Ben? Cheers Rich

Tried Clay? Bodyshops use more aggressive ones to remove overspray, Meguirars sell one in there proffesional range. Other wise you would be advised to carefully use white spirit or bodyshop panel wipe and see if that touches it?

I wont say how many hours I used to spending cleaning cars before shows!

Back tobalack is nothing more than silicone spray, horrible stuff. AG Bumper care works great on textured plastics. If the bird crap has damaged the plastic nothing wil really revive it. I would try the bumper care though.

A good wash,clay and paint cleaner to remove all the in grained dirt. Then a good polish to restore depth, gloss and shine and remove any defects in the laquer. Then seal and protect. What products have you got to use with the PC?

I use Autoglym Engine and machine cleaner on mine. Agitate witha brush and rinse of with a low pressure flow of water using as little as possible. Cover over anything that looks like water wont mix with it. Dry the best you can with towels and dress with Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber, polish...

Autosol or Autoglym, nothing in them for use, at a guess they maybe the same product! But The AG can be purchsed more cost effectively in a 200ml bottle. I have just picked up some Meguiars NXT metal polish from Halfords which is meant to be good, but not tried it yet, smells nice LOL!
