    Mk1 1.9D starter motor access

    Hi all, I know it's a bit of an old car but hoping someone may be able to help. Mechanic fitted a recon starter motor to Mk1 1.9D in Jan. Started fine went to Tesco, went to restart and motor turns slugglishly as if the battery is flat. Mechanic can't come out until Tues and I miss my car now...
