that still looks dealer affixed to me, I could well be wrong but we got some odd stuff here like 'Factory Fit Sunroof' in the series 1 Williams' which was a Renault part etc but transpired was dealer fitted at that end, so the car left the factory without it in.
the cup bits stuck on the Aussie...
The colours and numbers for UK models are below, there never was an official phase 1 cup, looks to me like dealer glued on tat that does to drum up some trade on Aus maybe? Total production run for phase 1 and 2 also there.
All UK delivered phase 1's had ac. Phase 2 had climate if standard...
Spin out to collect some turbo bits from mate of mine, had a nosey around his very very nice mk1 1.8 16V which left me incredibly jealous and thinking about selling everything up to buy it... . then fell back in love with the oddy once more once removed the those rose tinted glasses!
surely don't need to worry about the oil either, the compressor won't spin as the clutch will be disengaged anyway provided you don't switch the climate on.
I have kw V2 with AST solid top mounts and spherical bearing wishbone bushes on my track car. drive it on the road to and from track and occasional blast and its still fine, perfectly compliant really
I get that for some stuff, but for a road car maybe occasional track use I'd 100% stick to oe bushings. And I've fitted all sorts to every configuration of clio over the years.
So for my track only car that's used on the road occasionally, proper spherical bearings. Daily thats used on track...
Think that should be a decent buy and nice to see they command that sort of money now, pretty sure even one on my mileage now will be worth what I paid 8 years ago
well yes, but only if on the spec sheet for that exact car...…. ;)
tbh surprised there's not more 'OE' hatred for the lack of thumbgrips on the wheel, that makes me twitch more than the seats do 🤪
seems pricey but good ones do go for money now, there is a bit of colour tax on RB and its got all the right bits on it really. seats look odd but wouldn't put me off at all if I was in the market
logical thing to do for me is, contact Mick as the car appears to be outside the social...
the part attached to the bonnet seizes or becomes sticky and doesn't allow the clasp in the slam panel to grip it properly, there was a recall to replace the catch on the bonnet with Renault, but simply brake clean then wd40'ing it every oil service keeps her mint
There are two 'undertrays'...
welcome
check your bonnet catch, in the pic the bonnet to bumper gap looks pretty big at the nose. in all honesty looks like the bumper under tray to subframe is missing and the bumper has sagged, but these cars are common for the bonnet catch failing and bonnet flying open at speed and...
Cracking day at blyton park today, Eastern circuit lay out which haven't done in years.
Did 101 miles for around 75 laps and clicked 216k on the way there
Lovely
