dont bother with an induction kit mate, the standard airbox is the best you'll get really, just put in a upgraded panel filter. your other alternative is to put on a ph1 172 airbox or espace v6 box

I had a pipercross open filter on my 172 and they are really loud, especially after 5k, the note changes completely. Was too loud for me so put the standard box back on and the pipercross is now on ebay

I'd also like to know this as my centre section has gone

My back box fell off yesterday and mine feels quicker now.... But that's cos its lighter lol as I couldn't believe just how heavy the back box is
