Ah yeah. Something won’t be lining up or some blockage. I’ve had issues before and there is a small amount of disassembly I managed but I couldn’t get to the bottom of it and just binned it in the end
Also fyi it looks like direct hoses sell the cheap ones from temu with an incredible mark up😅...
Some of them have two adjustments. The knob and also the end swivels?
They’ve become so cheap now that they’re effectively disposable. I’ve bought a load of cheap ones and also tried expensive ones and there’s no real difference. Might be worth buying a cheapo and seeing how that goes
Got one...
I think I used the turtle wax one? You basically run the car with the ac going and leave it in there. It’s an aerosol so just open it and let it do its thing, the smell is a bit intense but it did take away a dog smell in a car I did
Be using an extractor or a wet vac? If so you’ll be fine with an interior safe product, spray on scrub and if it’s damp use the extractor to get out as much wetness as possible
Just finished the lap in this. Driver was unreal, couldn’t believe how he peddled. We overtook EVERYTHING. At least 2 911 gt3 rs. Very capable car plus a very capable driver.
Absolutely loved it. The missus on the other hand is now sick as a dog😂.
What a place, very busy today with the weather...
Are you not bothered about the state of the fix underneath where the plate will be? I’d just use some sort of filler if you don’t mind it looking a bit s**t. Or just fire the plate on and see, I think it would probably look completely fine unless the holes are really wide
have the plastics gone grey already? I wouldn’t have thought you’d need c4 yet. I’ve only ever used it on 12+ year old cars where the plastics look terrible
Had good results with it but it’s diluted right down. You do need to be careful though with most of these products as they can dull paintwork/trim if left too long
I’ve tried a few pre washes and apc’s in lances and pump sprayers.
Duel pre wash is actually really decent. Pol star by Koch chemie is really good, can be diluted right down and still really effective.
Touchless is epic yep
Not a deal breaker if you plan on polishing but aye it helps get rid of a lot of the dirt before any contact.
Just use a diluted apc in a spray applicator
Micro polisher. I use the cordless batoca one, it’s decent enough.
Gloss black trim is a f**king pest though, just look at it and there’s scratches on it.
Although the angle of where those scratches are you may need an even smaller polisher. A dremel with the correct attachment may be the...
Rotary is brave for a beginner. You’re likely being too gentle with it but also the risk of cutting through the clear is high with a rotary. If you can get access to a DA try that. Much safer compared to rotary. 4 passes isn’t enough for that marring
What pad are you using?
I’ll admit I hadn’t looked at prices properly till recently. Have the prices always been so high? I’m sure a few years back to go on track it was like €50 a lap or something
Don’t get me wrong I’d rather do the ring taxi for sure purely from a fear perspective if something went wrong on track.
I want to take the other half on the track with me and the ring taxi costs the same amount again just to have someone ride along which is annoying
