The only saxo a clio 1.2 16v will burn off is a very early 1.0. There isnt anything in it with the 1.1's, maybe after about 70 when the extra 15bhp of the clio may give it an advantage. 1.4, VTR and VTS will hand the clio its arse of a plate.

+1. Bit pointless imo, only saved 20kgs and lost a lot of kit. FF182 is by far the best option. However used cups seem to demand a bit of a premium for some odd reason.

PMSL Mini-valver. Good cars the saxo's, realy like the VTS's, however insurance is obviously an issue and the VTR will still be pretty nippy.

lol nope, but I have a Gf and there are millions of girls around. The chance to drive a Vee would come along hundreds of times less in a lifetime than the chance to shag some girl. I stand by my decision.

^^^^ +1 I cringe if it ever happens in my car, usually in damp conditions when you go for it from a junction a bit too aggressivly but not enough to spin the wheels up properly. Only had it happen a few times though, make sure i avoid it.

Good to see it back, and your insurance unaffected. Bet its a bit gutting getting back into the 1.2 after the 1.9 derv, must feel much quicker than the 1.2. Lot of work now to put everything back on it etc.
