your car is sports blue mate, paint code 449, the later valvers (n reg ones) are monaco blue, paint code 432. your car will only be monaco blue if it its had a respray. the code is on the metal plate above the drivers headlight (under the bonnet) the code is the three digits on the bottom line.

its on the back of the block, near the exhaust manifold - its a complete joke to see !!!

I had a mint standard valver which i sold a few months ago, I doubt there are that many decent valvers left (there do seem to be a couple on here which sound good though) as with any 10yr old car it will need care & attention to keep it in top condition. Have you considered a 106 gti ?? they...

a dude on here has a set on ebay for £150- i dont know if hes has had any bids on it yet though. i remember when there used to be a stampede for valver leather !!! it used to go for nearly £400.00 !!!

im sure tom20v has just changed his manifold, i dunno what he got though, sorry.

how do they know where you work ?? i always say social only (which is true) - i never drive to work as London is pants. say if you stuffed the car going to work though, surely youd just say yeah i went out, not im going to work !

Peco are chav though, very cheap & cheerful. Get a decent make- if moneys tight (im not saying it is) try for an almost new one on here, or ebay.

maybe use a set of mc gards & a set of another make as well ? (have two different locking nuts per wheel)

front seats are a straight swap, but the rear seat of the r19 has to be modded to fit, theres a guide on here (somewhere)
