You, my friend, are a life saver. Glad I managed to find this forum post, I was at my wits end, was already looking to buy a new motor. Turns out it was the drivers side switch.

So yesterday, parked my car in the garage, pulled my seat down to get something from the back, and, that's the last motion that seat did. Got stuck in the folded position, and I just reclined it, but it won't fold any more as the cable snapped. It snapped not from the usual place that I've found...
