    Checking timing

    Sorry for the noob question, but is checking the timing of a 182 engine a simple thing to do? The reason I ask is that I bought a car cheap with very little history and no mot, which had supposedly just had a new belt and dephaser. After a few little bits from me the car runs beautifully...
