Inlets (unless your are RS stamped), or RSTuner remap. Or strip it, very cheap!
Edit: Just noticed you've had a remap. No offence, but WTF's the point of getting a remap if you're considering other engine upgrades? Custom map is the last thing you should do, after decat, induction, exhaust etc etc.
In that case, if your changing the suspension, the cup's only benefit is in being a newer car. IIRC the ph1 is only 15kg heavier, but keeps air-con and abs. Most of the bits that need replacing (engine mounts, exhaust, etc) will be close to replacement on both. Just make sure the belts have been...
Maybe, thats just down to luck at the end of the day. Drove a ph2/ph1 back to back the other, I prefer the cable throttle by a distance, but my cables only a few weeks old.
Cup's actually the only RS I haven't owned, or driven. I'd say if you're keeping it standard, the cup would be better. If...
Blah. Cups barely lighter (despite losing air con and abs), for the same cash you could get a ph1, coilovers, remap, much better for track. Cups still look the nicest, mondial is lovely.
FFS, you guys are laughable. I said I'm going to possibly try a car with Billies on, not to buy them. Please, show me where it says I'm going to buy them? Just ignore the post above where it says I'm perfectly happy with them. Just because I want to drive as many set-ups as possible, so I can...
The clio pss9's were set-up specifically for the clio, 4k of track testing from what I've read. Been told they go from as soft as standard to rock hard, but won't know until I try!
I'm more than happy to try as many set-ups as possible, otherwise I'd probably be running around on GAZ's, happy as...
Well, you've answered your own question there. They are race cars, they don't have to deal with the bumps that a road car does. The 1*2's are short of suspension travel, which is why they lose composure on bumpy roads at the limit. The Trophy's ride height, combined with it's more sophisticated...
If the spread of adjustment was a bit wider, they'd be perfect in all conditions. I'm happy with them, but I'd be happy with the H&R's as well. Might get chance to drive a pss9'd car, that'll be interesting.
A lot of people who are 20ish, will of grown up when cars have been more reliable than ever before, so are surprised when anything fails on a device that carries heavy weight at high speed. I quite enjoy working on cars, I just see these things as part of owning a car.
Not funny. I only bought a clio because people on here told me it's the quickest car, like ever. IIRC, I'll need earplugs if I get ITB's, cams etc. Sonic booms is loud.
Should of seen Fred's face when he started reversing the Lambo (apparently reversing the e-gear box wears the clutch a LOT!). IIRC he was wearing a pastel pullover. Bet he had cucumber sandwiches for lunch.
She's from Malvern fella, lives near my folks. Think they're selling it soon. Tempted to put a cheeky offer in, maybe they don't realise what they have.
