I bet all the cup drivers having to drive round with the windows down in summer has a bigger impact on performance and MPG tbh. AC is much more efficient than it used to be.

As has the normal 172 sus;) Best bet would be to stick some Eibach Pro or Sportline springs on and leave the dampers as they are.

After reading your other thread I ordered one straight away and well happy with it. Might have a go at what you have done when it gets a bit warmer though. cheers!!

Not sure if it's the same for the door but the solenoid in the boot came apart from the lock mech with one screw and then just unhooked it. Wouldn't have thought you would need to take it all out but I might be wrong...

I got a new solenoid for my boot off someone on here breaking there car. Was only £7. I would just look at doing the same tbh.
