Morning all. After a bit of advice please. I have used the search button but nothing really comes up for my car. Basically when i come to a stop and it only happens maybe once in twenty times it will cut out, but will start back up straight away. What are the usual suspects? It is low on fuel so...
I'm still interested in an IK (mainly for noise) but I dont want it at the cost of power. the BMC CDA I tried lost me 15lb of torque and 9bhp which is why I only run a better panel filter now
Best of both worlds with the JMS one though?

There a good price for a decent piece of kit. There seems to have been alot of research into finding the best/beneficial products to use. And if you do a search alot of people recommend them. Im quite anal when it comes to buying stuff so i can assure you i looked into all different types before...
Hi mate. I got mine 2nd hand off here. Did try a few times to get in touch with JMS direct, but no joy. And the answer to the question 'how easy are they to fit?' If i can do it, you can lol. Ten mins tops. Look out in the for sale section on here, or try JMS direct. Brand new they are 140 ish...
I also have just put the old intakes to one side. Mainly because if i go back to standard it will be easier. But again down to personal choice. Still loving mine btw he he.

I paid 2k for mine 6 weeks ago. Its in very good condition. x reg with 80k, fsh etc. Patience is the key tbh. The right one of whichever model you want will turn up. As long as the cars been looked after, belts, services done etc you should be fine mate. Good luck.

Finally got the chance to fit it after a little guidence from off here lol. Money well spent. Wether its the noise but it seems to pull so much better/smoother. If anyone is considering getting one, do it. Great piece of kit.
Dan.
Righty induction kit is on. Couple of questions, agian sorry. The old caf's where do they go? Stay on the car? Also the breather pipe i got with the kit has quite a big pipe on it. Do i just cut it to size to the origional pipe?
Dan
Yep just spotted that. Question for you. The jms airbox has got a bracket on the bottom. Where as the old one doesnt, it as the bracket on the side by the battery. Do i use the exsiting support strap? If not where does the bracket go on the new one? Oh and the cold feed looks to small to fit on...
I very much doubt it will take me five mins lol. The breather pipe? Is that quite easy to locate? In work at the mo but when i get chance will nip out and attempt do it.

Havent really had chance to get round to fitting it yet, one thing after another but im determined to get it done today. How easy is it? As the one ive bought didnt come with instructions. It doesnt look that difficult but knowing me something will go wrong. Cheers in advance guys.
