Hmmm, looks like a football "scuff" to me, but my eyes aren't what they use to be (they use to be my ears, for all you Goon Show fans).
I would be surprised if Megs Scratch X or SRP doesn't get that out, but alcohol wipes are also a good shout. Can you feel the marks with your finger nails...
Simple question is, are you a Halfords buyer or an online buyer?
If the latter, pick up some Menzerna 203s and a Lake County hand cut pad.
If the former, get Megs Scratch X and a decent applicator.
DK surely on a decent run you must be able to get over the 30 mark??? I can sit at 70, 6th, CC on and get 30's all day long. Edged to 35 on the run down from the Lakes on Sunday evening . . .
Hmm. First try Super Resin Polish. See how you get on with that. If that doesn't work, claying or tar and glue remover would be next on my list.
Photos will really help buddy. Get back to me if poss later today.
Nothing wrong with that, except the Mr Sheen bit at the end! Lol!
The only issue I would flag up would be to watch how hot the drill polishing makes the plastic headlamp.
I've used a Glimour Gun, Jim and as this is another option around the £15 mark, all I can say is that it does exactly what I mentioned above, i.e. sprays a mix of soapy water, not foam.
Something I hadn't mentioned Markie, but quite right. For the ease/lack of issues I am happy for anyone to contact me about this issue. Not wishing to advertise services however!
More polishing buddy. Depends what you mean by scratching.
As far as I'm concerned, I really don't think people should be attempting this without a machine polisher, or at least the option to take it to someone nearby with one. By wet sanding the build up off the plastic of the headlamps, you...
It will not foam properly. They're designed to be used with car shampoo, so it sprays a mixture of shampoo and water over your car. It's not foam, it's more soapy water.
No point spending £17 as it will be a waste.
The death brothers, or Dr Death ran a V8 mini. Front seats ripped out and sat in the rear due to the size of the engine etc. That thing lapped all the other minis at Silverstone Classics last year without trying.
